The first, and most prominent, of four Jenkins brothers to play for the Old Centrals, Norman was the first known Secretary and Treasurer of the club. Normally found in the half-back line, he played from the first season until November 1898. Helped run the family stationers in Ridgway and was responsible for a series of local postcards. Died before his 40th birthday.
