Fred Preston
(1889/90 - 1898/99)
Vice-captain for the first season of the Old Centrals, Fred played in the half-back line for six seasons before leaving to help start up Ridgway church side Emmanuel F.C.

The football club appears to have been short lived, but Fred was still playing cricket for Emmanuel in 1909.

A sadler by trade, he lived at 2 High Street, Wimbledon, and eventually opened a leather and sports goods shop.
