Morrie Almond
(1899/100)
As a sixteen year old centre-half, Morrie played once for Old Centrals, in the second game of the 1899/00 season, a friendly against that season's Surrey Junior Cup winners Wingield House (later renamed Nunhead).

Went on to turn out for Pelham and Merton Manor and was still playing for West Wimbledon at the start of the 1923/24 season.

A keen cricketer, he played wicket-keeper and opening bat for the Wimbledon District XVIII (yes, eighteen) against Jack Hobb's County XI in the annual charity match in 1919, stumping the illustrious Hobbs.
