The youngest member of the famous Edelston family, Pat was born in 1920 and played for Uxbridge Town before WWII. He saw service with the R.A. Survey Corps in Greece, Crete, Tobruk, Tunis, Sicily.

A very popular member of the team, always ready with a cheery quip. Was still playing for Old Salesians in 1955.

Hi elder brother, Maurice, played for the Dons in the 1930s and was later more famouus as a BBC commentator and his father, Joe, played for Fulham for many years.
