Games were few and far between and despite missing only one match he only played 9 time for the Dons, scoring 7 times. === Wikipedia entry ===Joined the R.A.F. and represented them in the inter-services cup while regularly guesting for Chelsea (3 goals in 7 matches in the war-time Football League South). As the war drew to its conclusion he made 31 appearances for Hayes, scoring 11 goals, including a hat-trick against Carshalton in the London Senior Cup before turning professional with Clapton Orient in July 1946. After 3 goals in 118 appearances he joined Brenford, but did not make an appearance for the Bee's first time and finished his career in non-League for Dartford, Tunbridge Wells United and Ashford Town. |
