An England amateur international while at Leatherhead, Barry made 3 appearances for Fulham before joining Wimbledon for the 1976/77 season. Played pre-season during the Dons first season in the League but broke a leg in a reserve match and a after a long recovery joined Brian Hall at Slough Town.
