WG Lockey
(1931/32)
Tall, fast inside forward who made his name as an amateur with Fulham (where he played for their reserves alongside Doc Dowden) and represented the London League in 1926/27.

Signed for Tufnell Park in 1928/29 where his clever play was noted as responsible for the turnaround in their fortune after such a poor start, and resulted in representative honours for the FA Amateur XI. Played there alongside future Dons team-mate Frank Okin.

Appears to have signed dually at both Redhill and Wimbledon, in 1931/32, at which time he gained further FA Amateur XI honors. Only made one appearance for the Dons in a Christmas friendly defeat at home to Northampton Nomads and yet a month later was lining up oppoaite Fred Gregory for "The Rest" against England in the Amateur International trial at Dulwich Hamlet.

Signed amateur forms for Boscombe where he played in the reserves and then moved from Redhill to The Casuals before the end of 1931/32. At the end of 1934/35 he played in the Islington Corinthians team that beat Chelsea at Tufnell Park and in 1938/39 played and scored for The Casuals against Wimbledon in the final League match of that season.
