Born in Glasgow in 1921, Billy came to us in September 1946, having played most of his football in Ireland, turning out for Cliftonville in the Irish League from 1941/46. He won honours playing for Amateur League (N. Ireland) v. Leinster League (Eire). Married and living locally, he is manager of a London branch of Northern Ireland food manufacturers. Enjoys watching cricket in the Summer.
