Dusty Miller
(1934/35)
'Dusty' Miller was a winger or inside-forward who first came to prominence after joining Hayes from Kent side Tillings Athletic in 1931. He spent two and a half years at Church Road, during which he also played several times for Charlton Athletic's reserve team. After a trial he joined Dulwich Hamlet at the start of the 1933/34 season and played in their Amateur Cup final victory over Leyton, having to leave the field halfway through after a collision with one of his colleague caused a bad concussion.

Like the Wimbledon captain of the time, JK Wright, Miller was an Islington Corinthian, and he joined Wright at Plough Lane in March 1935, but never settled and made only a handful of appearances at the end of the season before moving on to Sutton United.

Played against the Dons for Erith & Belvedere in 1939/40 (reported as WE Miller).
