The first of the trio of ex-Tufnell Park players turning out for the Dons in 1939/40, alongside Len Cannon and Leslie Taylor. He had been at the North London club for 9 seasons and played against Wimbledon in the 1935/36 London Senior Cup tie. Was previously an amateur with Northfleet.
