Gary was a young 6' 3" central defender who made his Football League debut for Brentford, making 3 appearances in the 1974/75 season before joining the Dons on Easter Monday morning later in that campaign, making his début at Dartford that afternoon. He played in a handful of matches before moving on, later playing for Southall, Hayes, Clacton and Wivenhoe Town.
