Full Name: Maurice Boxall Date of Birth: Unknown Place of Birth: Unknown Maurice Boxall (1951/52 - 1953/54) A centre forward with the Naval Air Arm during the Second World War, Maurice Boxall switched to the outside-right position when he joined Banstead Athletic after being demobbed, playing for Surrey three times while there. After having a trial at Wimbledon in 1951, he quickly established himself as a tricky winger who liked nothing better than taking on opposition full backs. He made up for what he lacked in height with speed and ball control. A regular in the 1951-52 and 1952-53 seasons he dropped down to the reserves in the autumn of 1953 and left the club early the following year.
