Tall centre-back who joined the club in the second half of the 1928/29 season, playing mostly in the strollers, but breaking into the reserves at the end of the season and standing in for Edgar Goodens in the Easter friendly 5-4 victory against Wycombe Wanderers. His next appearance, the following season, was in the club record 15-2 F.A. Cup win over Polytechnic.
