Wimbledon Borough News: Wimbledon's team on Saturday against the Polytechnic included Micky O'Brien at outside-right, and judging by the reception he had the supporters will want to see more of this speedy forward in the first team. Built rather stockily, he does not fear any opposition and no matter how big his opponents are O'Brien will have a go. He is clever in ball control and a dangerous shot, and can head a ball with accuracy, as witness the second goal he obtained on Saturday. The spectators affectionately call him "Mick". He is destined to become a "broth ay a ghoy" to the Wimbledon supporters in quick time in view of Saturday's display. He gets another chance against London Caledonians tomorrow and, we hope, another couple of goals.
