Surname pronounced "Juddalevich", Mark was born in Carshalton but moved with his parents to Chelmsford aged two. Played for cubs and his school and worked his way up through Chelmsford Schools and Essex Boys, playing in the semi-final of the English Schools Trophy at under-15 level for the latter.

He signed associate schoolboy forms for Southend United and on leaving school was taken on as an apprentice, then signed as a professional for the 1977/78 season, but failed to break into the first team and was released at the end of the campaign.

He joined Southern League Chelmsford City and after impressing there was offered a four week trial at Wimbledon, signing in February 1979 and making a couple of first team appearances before spending the summer with Finish side KuPS. Broke into the Dons forward line the following season after scoring a great goal off the bench at home to Exeter City in October, but failed to hit the net again and was released at the end of the season.

Mark spent three more years playing in Finland, for FC Haka, in the summer and Chelmsford City in the winter, thereafter continuing to play in Finland until 1992.

Still in Finland, he joined Tevarit as player-manager in 2004, although at the age 44 played only a handful of games. After three years there he joined AC Oulu as assistant manager, leaving to take over the reigns at Jippo soon after, stepping down after three seasons and over 100 games in charge.
