Goalkeeper who started his footballing career with Pontypridd and assisted Salisbury City and Lovells Athletic before work brought him to London, where he was connected to the London League side Hotel Cecil. After breaking into the first team he was selected for the Welsh Amateur International trial match, but work meant he has to leave the Dons and he turned out for his work's team before returning at the start of 1930.

Later made at least one appearance for the Welsh amateur international side while playing for Southall in January 1934, against England at Bangor.
