Brian Fisher
(1955/56 - 1956/57)
After five years representing South London Schools, telephone engineer Brian spent his first year in senior football at Enfield, but living in West Norwood he looked for a club closer to home and joined Wimbledon in the summer of 1955. After a promising start but a lack of goals from a poor Dons' forward line meant the his appearances were limited. The reserves fared little better and he found himself trialled at half-back in the 'A' team and it was in that position that he played regularly for the first team the following season, but after the emergence of Bobby Ardrey late in the campaign he left for Tooting & Mitcham, scoring twice for the Terriers on his debut.
