AFC Wimbledon produced a stunning comeback from two goals down at the break to beat Scunthorpe.

The Iron took the lead through Sam Winnall before Charlie Sheringham wasted a chance to level when his penalty was saved by Sam Slocombe.

Chris Iwelumo doubled Scunthorpe's lead with a powerful header.

But Michael Smith pulled one back and Harry Pell levelled from 18 yards before Chris Arthur beat the offside trap to grab a dramatic winner.

It was a first league defeat of the season for Scunthorpe, who had a Winnall effort ruled out for offside prior to Arthur's goal, but they have not won in any competition since the opening day.

Neal Ardley's Dons move up to eighth thanks to a second home win of the campaign.
