Plymouth Argyle's faint hopes of a League Two play-off place were ended by AFC Wimbledon at Home Park.

Despite taking an early lead through skipper Conor Hourihane's impressive 25-yard effort, the Dons fought back to inflict a fifth loss in six games on John Sheridan's Pilgrims.

Jack Midson levelled after being set up by Kwesi Appiah just before the break.

Appiah got the winner as he beat the offside trap and slotted past Jake Cole following Tom Richards' pass.
