Wimbledon were unchanged for their third visit of the season to Kingfield. Woking started in a lively fashion and took the lead through Peskett from the penalty spot after eight minutes when Wallace was brought down. They kept the lead for only two minutes, Head heading home following a scrimmage in the Woking area. Both sides looked dangerous, but Head put the Dons ahead with a lovely drive with just over half an hour gone. Two minutes later Haydock saved when Short had him one on one and Boxall had a goal disallowed in favour of a Woking free-kick. Three minutes before the interval the home side’s persistence was rewarded when Wallace hooked the ball into the net for the equaliser. |
