South East Combination Women's League

Gillingham (Ladies)
?
5 - 1
AFC Wimbledon Ladies
Lekesha James (7)

Dons started well and their early hard work was rewarded in the seventh minute when Lekesha James latched onto an excellent through ball to open the scoring.

Gills responded by mounting relentless pressure on Dons keeper Charlotte Nash's goal.

Following a string over missed chances and excellent saves, Gills finally overcame the stubborn defence with a 35th-minute equaliser.

Gills then scored twice more just before half time to lead 3-1.

The Dons took the initiative again in the second half but Gills' well organised defence repelled all that came their way.

The home side then scored twice more and Nash had to be in fine form to keep the score down.

Makeshift defender Amy Price was Wimbledon's man of the match.
