Isthmian League

Tufnell Park
?
2 - 2
Wimbledon
Harry Stannard (?,45)

With ten league games to play in just 25 days the Dons had to settle for a draw at lowly Tufnell Park. A hard pitch and a strong wind made playing good football difficult and the Edmonton based side dominated the early stages, taking the lead when baker converted a penalty after Maggs handled the ball on the line. Stannard equalised with almost the last kick of the first half and with the breeze at their backs the visitors took over after the break. They took the lead when a shot from Ken Perkins bounced back off the bar allowing Stannard to bundle the ball home only for Park to level the scores again when Hornett misjudged a long shot. Despite some late chances Wimbledon could not produce a winner.
