F.A. Cup - 1Q
Plough Lane

Wimbledon
0 - 2
Walton & Hersham
?

Quality of finishing was the difference between two well matched teams at Plough Lane. After an even first half, a mis-kick from the normally reliable Maggs allowed left winger Johnson time and space to open the scoring for the visitors. Then Wimbledon had the perfect opportunity to level the scores when the referee awarded a penalty only for Stannard to see his spot kick well saved at full stretch by reserve keeper Powell. The Dons continued to push forward before right winger Skelton broke away to score the second and settle the tie.
