The Dons slid to their fourth defeat in a row as their dismal December continued at Kingfield. Despite having Jim Haydock back in goal the visitors were well beaten and but for poor finishing they could have lost by an even greater margin. Charlie Smith showed how much the team missed Stannard by having a woeful match and with 18 year old Tony Bray making his debut on the right wing the Dons rarely threatened.
